BaliTwin is a large-scale decentralized video game platform in a futuristic setting, built on blockchain and inspired by the cultural legacy of the island of Bali.
An ecosystem built on basic principles such as photorealistic graphics, true digital ownership, and a player-owned economy.
The project is based on advanced cloud-based rendering technologies that allow you to explore the large open world, buy and sell real land, real estate and art objects for in-game tokens, as well as explore the immersive story campaign with a personified avatar and enjoy next-generation photorealistic graphics from any computer or smartphone connected to the Internet.
Virtual items (vehicles, clothing, tools, real estate, etc.) have a fixed supply, are secured by NFT on the Ethereum/Polygon network, and can be freely exchanged between players.
Players can explore a virtual copy of Bali, communicate with others, create and sell items, trade and build real estate, and play a variety of game styles.
BaliTwin is developed in a photorealistic style with next-generation graphics implemented thanks to the capabilities of the Unreal 5 game engine.
Users can enjoy stunning island landscapes with high-resolution textures, high-polygonal 3D assets, dynamic day and night changes, realistic weather effects, modern physical model and smooth character and environment animations.
We've implemented the latest technologies such as Nanite, Lumen, Pixel streaming and World Partition to give users a truly immersive multiplayer experience, without having to buy an expensive computer and graphics card. Our meta-universe runs directly in your browser, without downloading a client program or distribution.
Gameplay is rendered on remote AMAZON and NVIDIA servers and sent to the user's device, and all updates are available as soon as they are implemented, without the need to download patches.
The goal of our project is to create an exact digital copy of the island of Bali, with all its lands, temples, palaces, settlements, nature and landscapes. In achieving this goal we are helped by our own technologies of fast transfer of huge territories to the game engine using satellite maps, as well as unique pipelines of photogrammetry, procedural generation, neural networks and 3D scanning.
The project team officially cooperates with the Indonesian government.
Bali Twin has legal access to the most isolated, sacred and closed to tourists locations.

BaliTwin does not plan to release players into a huge, monotonous and empty open world, as has happened in other open world games. We create the environment with love and attention to detail, digitizing the island consistently.
β οΈ Bali Twin involves opening up new locations to players gradually, but regularly.
In the first year of development, we focused on digitizing the Badung region. At the start, players will have access to several large areas of the kingdom and will be able to explore it by moving from one place to another, according to the metroidvania principle.
A central hub will be available in the game, from which users will be able to travel between large open locations using the fast travel feature.
To speed up the process of digitizing territories, we involve local people in our team, for whom we conduct master classes in photogrammetry and 3D scanning.
We study state mapping archives, conduct geological surveys, and then use the data for procedural generation.
π₯ Bali is not only a huge tropical island, it's also a distinctive, stunningly rich centuries-old culture, strikingly different from the rest of the world. The folklore of the island holds a deep lore that we carefully and lovingly research, digitize and incorporate into our game. For generations, Balinese have created an original artistic style and written fascinating legends filled with stories of courageous heroes, frightening and strange creatures, and majestic gods that are completely unfamiliar to a mass world audience. Most sources of information about Bali have not been translated into English and are not common in Indonesian pop culture, let alone the rest of the world. That said, the island does have something to offer the western comic-book-savvy audience.
Local religion, traditions, nature, sculptures, temples, weapons, armor, clothing, tombs, irrigation systems and bestiary of unthinkable creatures are strikingly different from anything that Western audiences are used to. That is why Bali Twin will give players a fresh experience and a lot of positive impressions.
The content digitized by our team will allow the Bali Twin project to be used not only for entertainment purposes, but also for educational purposes.
Right now we are exactly copying the historical heritage of the island, turning it into an interactive catalog available to anyone in game form.
We have developed our own online marketplace where users will be able to buy digital copies of art, real estate and even land on the island.
π₯ Online users will be able to visit exact digital replicas of areas, hotels and villas that exist in Bali, and right inside the Bali Twin to rent or buy their real versions. One of the goals of our project is to improve the financial and investment climate of Bali by providing opportunities to earn income for the natives of the island through a percentage of the sale of digital copies in the marketplace.
Bali Twin will allow art owners and craftsmen to earn money by selling their goods not only in the physical world, but also to monetize their digital copies in the meta universe.
π₯ Our project is in step with the times and uses blockchain technology to buy and sell in-game items as NFTs and earn Bali Tokens as rewards for in-game achievements and convert them into real-world currencies.
That said, BaliTwin is not a Pay-to-Win project. In our universe, you don't have to spend money to complete a story campaign or level up your character to the maximum level.
We believe that play-to-earn should be equal to play-for-fun, and we are working on an economic model that will allow the company to grow, delighting users with new updates, but without causing hatred in the video game community, of which we ourselves are a part.
Inside Meta Bali there will be a lot of mini-games with a gambling component at its core and will allow everyone to earn real money in the game world.
β οΈ All of these activities will not affect the main gameplay and will not interfere with world exploration and character development.
We provide everything you need for social interaction within our community.
Players will be able to create and customize their characters, communicate by voice, and explore the BaliTwin world together.
π‘ We plan to implement the import of avatars from friendly meta universes, as well as integrate digital clothing from other marketplaces. Users will be able to form their own personalized spaces, from personal homes to entire settlements, have events in them, and even create their own mini-games.
Game World will feature identifiable brands, from cars to chain hotels, but adjusted for the futuristic setting of the game world. We provide a wide range of advertising integrations, from showroom construction to product placement in cinemas.
